RISE TO ADDICTION: Former BLAZE Members Seek Label Home
March 2, 2005RISE TO ADDICTION, the new project featuring former BLAZE members John Slater (guitar),Steve Wray (guitar) and Rob Naylor (bass),will be performing at the Snooty Fox in Wakefield, U.K. on April 2.
Commented Steve on the group's current activities: "We've been working extremely hard lately on new material and looking into securing a deal which has been taking up a considerable amount of our time. We've had some interest from a couple of major labels and some not-so-big companies all offering different things. We now have a slightly less cloudy picture of we're doing."
Added Rob: "We've all toured extensively in the past so it wasn't a priority to get back on the road and I feel we've done the right thing. But we've all missed being out there which is why we've decided to stretch those muscles. We have some London dates lined up in the near future which I'm sure will be confirmed pretty soon but we've been approached a couple of times from the Snooty Fox and its always been a well respected northern venue. Apparently there will be a few bands on the bill so it's set to be a rockin' night. We'll be playing for about an hour trying out some new stuff so it's gonna be a really special evening for us so be there if yer can."
